Our ZEUS batteries, chargers, and power-related products are manufactured offshore.

What manufacturing functions do you perform in the U.S.?

We assemble custom battery packs and distribute orders from our Bloomingdale, IL warehouse.

What affects battery prices?

While there are a number of factors, those that primarily affect battery prices are the cost of raw materials, the exchange rate, freight, and duties.  

What are the new lithium battery shipping regulations?

They are designed to protect workers---especially those involved in air freight---from the potential fire hazards of shipping lithium. These new regulations are extremely stringent and require special packaging, labeling, and declarations with major shipping carriers. This has impacted battery prices across the industry.

Do your batteries perform as well as more expensive brands?

Yes, with few exceptions, our batteries perform as well as nationally known brands.

Have you conducted comparison tests with your batteries?

Yes, we recently performed an in-house test using D-cell batteries in four identical flashlights with ZEUS, Duracell, Energizer, and store brand batteries. Only the Duracell battery lasted longer than ZEUS and it was only 10% longer. Click on the time-lapsed video below of the actual test.
